March Update from the Kintner’s – March 2019

From Paul and Elaine Kintner                                                                                                                                Baptist Mid-Missions

“I….do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of  you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him…” Ephesians 1:16-17.

We praise the Lord for another month of blessing in our lives and ministries here in sunny Florida. It is the cool season for us, but warm to the many “snowbirds” who visit here this time of year. We are blessed during these first three months of the year with exceptional Bible Conferences and concerts in the village, and visits from the north of family and friends. A dear friend from our home church in New York spent a few days with us recently.

As mentioned in the previous letter, Elaine received a cortisone injection which reduced the pain in her back for a few weeks as she waited for the Ablation procedure. Finally, March 14th she had the procedure, which resulted in a lot of pain. It will require a few weeks to take effect and relieve the pain for an extended time, perhaps a couple years or more. We appreciate your prayers.

We continue our prison and jail ministries, and yesterday (March 26th) two ladies prayed to accept the Lord. One lady that made her decision for Christ several months ago is now working in the rehabilitation facility where she went for rehab upon release from jail. She invited Elaine and the other ladies to visit her and they were blessed to see the progress in her spiritual life. Elaine is also teaching the ladies Sunday School class at church during three consecutive Sundays this month.

The director of EBI visited a conference of Spanish Evangelical Literature Publishers in Miami last week where he was able to present our latest publications, as well as our entire line of Sunday School, Discipleship and Bible Institute materials. There was a tremendous response to our materials, and we are already seeing large orders for several different countries in Latin America. This is an answer to prayer, as EBI, because of its small size is little known commercially.

Thank you for your prayers and support for us and our ministry. In the Scripture verse printed above, we have applied the Apostle Paul’s expression regarding his prayer life for that of ours for you. We take time to pray each morning for several, and throughout the week for many of you. May God richly bless you in your walk with God, and service for Him.

In His service,

Paul and Elaine Kintner
